    Active Ingredients :

    Etoricoxib
    Etoricoxib (Arcoxia) is a novel non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits the inducible form of cyclo-oxygenase (COX), COX-2.

    Pharmacologic Action :

    >Cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor

    Compounds or agents that combine with cyclooxygenase (prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase) and thereby prevent its substrate-enzyme combination with arachidonic acid and the formation of eicosanoids, prostaglandins, and thromboxanes.
