amyloid angiopathy A heterogeneous group of disorders that includes sporadic and familial forms, characterized
clinically by cerebral ischemia; cerebral infarction; and cerebral hemorrhage.Pathologically the condition is marked by the deposition of amyloid in the walls of small blood
